Certification  ·  Five credentials

Train the people who touch the load.

A trailer can be perfect and a shipment can still be ruined by a door held open for six minutes. Our credentials are built for the people who make those decisions in real time — dock crews, drivers, quality leads and investigators — and they are assessed, not just attended.

The pathway

How the five credentials fit together

Most organizations start by putting their dock and driver staff through CCH-1, then send one or two people up the quality track. The winter workshop stands on its own and needs no prerequisite.

CCH-1 HANDLER · 2 DAYS CCQL-2 QUALITY LEAD · 5 DAYS EXI-3 INVESTIGATOR · 2 DAYS TMP-3 MAPPING · 3 DAYS WCO — WINTER CORRIDOR OPERATIONS STANDALONE · 1 DAY · SEPT–NOV EITHER OR BOTH; CCQL-2 REQUIRED

In-house delivery

Bring a cohort to your own dock

For CCH-1 and WCO we will run the course at your facility, using your equipment, your product classes and your actual receiving area. It works better than a classroom and it costs less per head above eight candidates.

In-house CCH-1: $8,900 CAD for up to 18 candidates, plus instructor travel outside Manitoba. Delivery in French available with six weeks’ notice.

Assessment, records and appeals

Assessment is real. Roughly 9% of CCH-1 candidates do not pass on the first attempt. One re-sit is included in the fee; a second costs $180. We do not issue a credential for attendance alone.

Records belong to the candidate. Credentials are held in the candidate’s name, not the employer’s, and travel with them if they change jobs. Employers can verify any credential number through member services.

Appeals. A candidate may appeal an assessment result within 30 days. Appeals are reviewed by an examiner who was not involved in the original assessment, at no charge, with a decision inside 15 business days.

Cancellations. Full refund up to 21 days before the start date; 50% up to 7 days; substitutions accepted any time at no cost.
